Have you ever heard of the Butterfly Effect?
The astonishing metamorphosis where a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. I was born with a talent, and consciously or not, I went through such a metamorphosis — one that nurtured this gift and led me here, to you. No matter how much a person strays from their path, they can never escape what God has destined for them. And I was destined to create beauty — in the form of clothing.
On a beautiful day, for a very special occasion far across the ocean, I created this Monarch Butterfly dress you see here. It took me a full month — from sketch to final stitch — but in the end, it was so stunning that everyone who saw it couldn’t stop talking about it!
When the lady I created it for put it on, and I had to say goodbye to it, only one thought echoed in my mind: “My butterfly, you are beautiful, you are free, and now you must fly!” She spread her wings and took off.
In that moment, I felt both pain and relief. It was as if I was born again. And I realized — the butterfly was me. This metamorphosis was my journey. All those years of learning how to bring the images in my mind to life… The sleepless nights at the sewing machine… The pain in my hands… Suddenly, it all made sense. I understood that my gift from God was no coincidence. It was His present to me — so I could pass it on to you. Everything else I had done before, even if I was good at it, was merely a detour. Because only when I see the design in my head, touch the fabric with my hands, and turn it into something beautiful — only then, when I see the smile of the woman wearing my creation, do I feel truly happy.
